Water Main Installation
This project consists of (1) a 20-inch nominal diameter water main utilizing HDPE installation via horizontal directional drilling in the crossing of the Intracoastal Waterway. (1) 16-inch nominal diameter force main HDPE installation via horizontal directional drilling in the crossing of the ICW.
Along with cutting and capping the existing 16-inch water main on the north side of Las Olas Blvd.
Bridge at both sides of the ICW and connecting all proposed piping to the existing piping on-shore utilizing 16-inch PVC pressure pipe meeting AWWA C905 standard.
The project was the City’s first Design Build. Delivered on time and under budget. Including strict deadlines and acceleration required for the City’s cherished annual Boat Show.
