Utility Infrastructure Installation & Control System Integration

The Utility Infrastructure Installation & Control System Integration Project highlights David Mancini & Sons, Inc. (DMSI)’s full-spectrum capabilities in civil, mechanical, and electrical utility construction, combining complex pipeline installation with advanced control system integration.

This project encompassed the furnishing and installation of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for a complete, fully operable utility system. The work included installation of silt fencing, potholing, pipe assemblies, flow tube meter assemblies, sump pumps, thrust collars, trench supports, line stops, tapping sleeves, and valves, as well as all associated piping, fittings, and structural supports.

Additional scopes included surface restoration, such as asphalt paving, sidewalk reconstruction, and fencing installation, along with mechanical and electrical components — including valve vaults, electrical systems, control panels, and Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs) connected to an antenna and base station receiver system for real-time data transmission.

DMSI also provided complete component testing, system calibration, and start-up services, ensuring the project met all operational and safety requirements. Supporting activities included civil site work, project controls, field surveys, and quality verification, resulting in a seamless, integrated infrastructure system ready for long-term service.

This project underscores DMSI’s ability to deliver turnkey infrastructure systems that blend mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines into one cohesive solution. From underground utilities to advanced telemetry and control integration, DMSI continues to set the standard for reliability, precision, and innovation in public works and utility construction across South Florida.
